Anshita Pant (Grade 7E) has been awarded the highest goal scorer in the middle school girls soccer Tournament in 'SPANDAN' @ The Cathedral Vidya School, Lonavala which was held on Saturday, November 26th & Sunday, November 27th, 2016. Anshita's cheerful attitude and high energy were infectious to everyone present in the tournament, making it a very fun and enjoyable experience for all. Not only was she contributing positive energy to the tournament, but she was also smoking the competition with her well-aimed accurate shots on target and exceptional soccer skills. For her excellent performance and for winning the highest goal scorer, she was awarded a mountain bike, crystal trophy and an achievement certificate. Again, we congratulate Anshita on her win, and we highly encourage students to participate more in such tournaments so as to win fabulous prizes that are up for grabs.
We are thrilled to announce OIS’ shinning results of the recent (December 3 and 4, 2016) MSSA swim meet which officially established our swim team as number 1 in Mumbai. This year, OIS has won all the three coveted interschool swim trophies - GMAAA, YMCA and MSSA. Fantastic performance of OIS swimmers brought the following achievements: Armaan Sikka U 14 won Gold - 200IM Silver -100Free Silver - 100Breast Bronze -100Butterfly Fourth - 100Back Gold -Free style relay and Medley Relay (Boys under 16) Vedant Madhavan Boys U 12 won Silver in 100 mts freestyle Thea De U 14 won Bronze in the 200 IM girls She was also a part of the relay team (girls under 16) which won gold in freestyle and bronze in Medley relay. Vedika Amin U 12 made 3 NMRS with three golds, a BMR with a silver and one bronzer in her Individual events. She also anchored the Under 16 girls freestyle relay team to a gold creating a New Record. She also swam as a part of the medley relay Under 16 winning a Bronze. Vedika was judged the Best swimmer Under 12 years girls and given the Individual Champion award. Angath Sadanah U 14 won Bronze in 100 bk Gold in 4x50m freestyle relay U 16 Gold in 4X50m Medley relay U 16 Fourth 100 metres Freestyle The boys U 16 Armaan, angath, Ishaan and Yohann won Gold in 4x50 Medley and Freestyle Relay The Girls U 16 Alizeh, Vedika, Thea and Dia won Gold in the 4x50 freestyle holding The attached video shows the OIS boys team is in the first lane!
