I was recently part of the High School Mom's Business and Entrepreneurship Internship which was supported by Huron University, Singapore Institute of Management and Flame University. It started with approximately 3000 applicants. I applied with a short essay about the impact of COVID on my life as part of the first round and was part of the top 365 applications.
Through this, I was able to attend three sessions with faculty members of each university discussing various topics such as supply chain, marketing and the entrepreneurial mindset. To qualify for the successive rounds, I submitted a business idea rooted in the concept of reutilising waste resources. After this, I submitted a proposal and qualified for the final round in which I gave a business pitch to faculty members of the above-mentioned universities and was placed 4th!
