OIS Graduate Anirudh Duvvuri from Class of 2018 shares his initial experience at UMich!

45,000 students! I had to let that sink in for a second. The fear of being one in many was great. But what I didn’t realize is that it could be 10's of thousands of smaller groups, 1000’s of larger groups, but most importantly it was a large family of 45,000 unique individuals who were all in this together. It gives you the feeling of home but also gives you the chance to step out of your comfort zone. A school of amazing contrasts that has a place for each and every unique individual. To me, this is the University of Michigan.
