OIS Alumni Yash Vaid at USC !

“You For Sure” was built on an instrumental that I made (and almost archived) in 2016. The song came to life when I sent Awedi the instrumental and he wrote a demo vocal on it. The melody was really catchy and had a great vibe to it. Soon, we were exchanging ideas regarding the theme of the song and did some sessions to finish writing the lyrics he sent me. Post recording the vocals and laying down the final arrangement, I was playing around with the initial drop and ended up with a much different, more bouncy and dance oriented drop. At that point, we felt that the song had become what we envisioned it to be and that made it special for both of us. 

Many months later, we are super happy to finally put this record out and we can’t wait to see you vibe to it! 
Awedi and I had a lot of fun making this record.
