Making absolutely sure
I am pretty sure this post is redundant, because I have already sent an e-mail.
Monday, October 17th, will be the first day on which the school's doors will close at 07.45. All children who arrive at school after 07.45 will be sent home.
Please make sure your kids are here in time.
Awesome initiative !!

Dear Neil, I am so glad that you are taking this measure. However, I do hope that some parents/caretakers/students become a little more sensitive to others around them. It is actually unfair to get unnecessarily delayed because a few of the kids/parents/caretaker decide that its perfectly normal to get down at the front gate and hold up traffic in the process - "the I can't be bothered" attitude. I do wish they would show a little empathy to the Security guards and the other parents who make an effort to follow rules.
Yes Sheetal, I also wish that everyone would be considerate and cooperative. But we both know the world isn't always like that. So what is the point in considering the needs of those around us when many of them do not? As always, think of your kids. Your example, how you treat situations like this has a lot to do with whether your kids grow up to be kind and considerate, or entitled and objectionable.
