When it comes to language acquisition, there is a topic that both teachers and learners fear: the tenses and the verbs. It is not easy to teach it as it can be a VERY boring topic, and it’s not easy to learn, as there are so many exceptions to the rules. Yes, you guessed it right, I teach French.
For those of you who were traumatized as a kid (myself included), I had to find a way to make my students revise what we learned as well as make them speak.
Nothing beats a good board game. It empowers the students, they are relaxed and joyful and the learning takes place without even realizing it. I love to witness the magic and the smile on their faces.
