Arts Unlimited - Visual Arts Showcase

Over the academic year 20-2021, students have been persevering through the challenges that have come with lockdown. They have shown great enthusiasm for learning, willingness to try new things, and have come up with truly wonderful ideas, artworks, and musical pieces. Now we invite you to enjoy the OIS Primary Arts Unlimited Exhibition.

In Music, students chose one of four songs to sing; these songs centered around the themes of happiness, hope, faith and friendship! Students recorded themselves singing along to the song of their choice, and with the help of the IT integrators the videos you see on the Arts Unlimited website were created! We loved hearing the students sing, and we hope their voices can bring as much joy to you as they did to us. 

With Art, learning through inquiry took hold in the primary years while learning from home, stimulating and ensuring opportunities for students’ voice and choice. All art projects were designed to encourage creativity while developing students’ identity as artists. In Art we explored a multitude of art skills and techniques and student artwork is organized into four categories- Colour Exploration, Illustration, Portraiture and 3D models.
