In grades 3-5, students created beautiful rangoli in the lobby. The younger ones painted diyas on Friday and celebrated with festivities. There was food, fun and celebration.
For grades 4 and 5, there also was a celebration of Dia de los Muertos or the "Day of the Dead" celebration from Mexico. Students created masks, learned the significance of the holiday in South America and watched the fun movie, Coco, all about the celebration. Comments are closed.
