Today, on Friday, September 22nd, nursery parents came to JVLR for a curriculum morning. They got a taste of what life is like for their nursery children by getting into the classrooms. Children decided on stations where they would take their parents. There was clay play, drawing, quiet reading, puzzles, stacking blocks. Children excitedly showed their parents their work, the walls, the schedule and their play toys.
Parents learned from their children and from their parent workshop that play is essential to the curriculum at JVLR, and they enjoyed playing with them. For parents who didn't get a chance to attend, the slideshow is below. Also, for more information on our curriculum and program of inquiry, please see this link. We look forward to your continued support! For those that missed the presentation, here it is: Comments are closed.
