OIS Core Values
Knowledge Social Responsibility Respect Creativity Celebration Our core values are at the heart of the school and guide everything that we do. Throughout August we have been discussing our core values with the kids: through reading and activities. When we dig deeper, knowledge is about developing a love for learning and lifelong learning. Knowledge is about developing skills, along with content, so that we can think critically about the world around us. It is not just about reciting facts. Being knowledgeable and a reflective thinker are also attributes in our learner profile. The learner profile guides everything we do in the IB--from 3-year olds through grade 12. Things you can do to help build "knowledgeable" learners:
